• On August 11, 2026, Model ML, a leading global AI operating system for financial and professional services, announced that it had raised funding from HSBC Asset Management
• This investment follows Model ML’s $75M Series A financing led by FT Partners in November 2025
• Model ML is an AI operating system built on top of LLM agnostic infrastructure specifically for financial and professional services. The Company has developed one of the industry's most advanced agent harnesses, enabling firms to build AI agents that operate the way their teams actually work, seamlessly integrating institutional knowledge and documents, external data providers, proprietary Model ML datasets, and Microsoft Office applications
• Model ML is also surface agnostic. While it offers proprietary web, desktop, and mobile applications as well as Office suite plugins, users can access their agents wherever they work, including email, text, Teams, Slack, and other enterprise systems via MCP
• Model ML tackles one of financial services' most persistent challenges: the manual, time-intensive creation of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel deliverables. In benchmarking tests, Model ML completed client-ready deliverables over 20x faster than human consultants and with higher accuracy; the platform is already being adopted by major banks, asset managers, and consulting firms, including three of the Big Four accounting firms

Significance of Transaction

• This investment deepens HSBC’s strategic partnership with Model ML and aligns incentives as the Company continues to expand its enterprise deployment across HSBC’s global divisions
• HSBC joins an expanding roster of tier-one financial institutions that have both deployed Model ML in production and taken a strategic equity stake in the Company, further validating Model ML as the emerging mission critical system for AI-native knowledge work
